Loved the compact kitchen, perfect for whipping up a microwave dinner. The hot tub was a great place to relax and pretend I'm a horse whisperer. And who needs washing when you have towels provided!
If only they had arranged a private horse-drawn carriage to take me around the property. So disappointing.

From start to stop, our stay at this charming and comfortable guest house was absolutely mind-blowing. It had everything we needed, including Wi-Fi, free parking, an electric kettle, cookware/kitchen utensils. The highlight was the jaw-dropping outdoor dining area, where we enjoyed delicious grilled meals while taking in the breathtaking view. The jacuzzi was super relaxing and offered stunning views of the valley. We also had the incredible opportunity to go horseback riding and interact with these beautiful creatures. The host's thoughtful touches, like the welcome note, candy on the pillows, fresh flowers, and amazing cabin decoration. Despite encountering a snowstorm and a delayed flight, the host was very kind and helpful, providing us with all the necessary information. This place truly captured our hearts, and we will definitely be back for future occasions.

The cottage was perfect for a cozy winter stay, and the hot tub was a wonderful bonus. The farm tour and friendly chat with the hosts added a personal touch to our experience. Communication was easy with the owner. Nearby, there were restaurant options available in both Hvergardi and Skolfoss.
There was nothing we would change about our stay, it was exceptional in every way.

The kids absolutely loved being surrounded by beautiful horses on the working farm, and getting to watch them graze in the fields. The private hot tub with stunning views was a hit with the whole family, especially after a long day of exploring the Golden Circle. Sabine and Daniel were incredibly friendly and helpful hosts, making our stay even more enjoyable.
My children wished there was a playground on the property.

The room was cozy and charming, with a rustic feel that made me feel right at home. I loved the sleeping loft, even though it was only accessible by a ladder. Being up there made me feel like I was on a cozy little adventure.
I have to admit, climbing up and down the ladder to get to the sleeping loft was a bit of a hassle for me. But hey, some people might find it fun and adventurous!

The sleeping loft at Akurgerthi Guesthouse 2 is super cozy and charming. I felt like a kid again climbing up that ladder! It added a unique and adventurous touch to my stay. Loved it!
The only thing that I wasn't a huge fan of was the ladder access to the sleeping loft. Maybe it's just me, but it felt a bit tricky to climb up and down.

This tiny house had everything I needed, including a kitchen and a hot tub. The horse riding tour was a nice touch. Towels and WiFi were also available.
Can't believe they didn't offer to wash my clothes for me! Such a disappointment.
